Pasture-Raised Pork
Taking Orders Now for October/November 2026 Delivery
At Sheepy Hollow Farms, our pigs are raised the right way—on open pasture, with sunshine, fresh air, and room to root, wallow, and explore. We never use growth hormones or unnecessary antibiotics. The result? Naturally marbled, richly flavored pork that’s worlds apart from anything you’ll find in a grocery store.
We raise our pigs ethically, humanely, and naturally on pasture to produce exceptional-tasting, high-quality pork.
At Sheepy Hollow Farms, we reject large-scale commercial farming practices. Our pigs free-range on open pasture right here in Allentown, New Jersey. They are never confined, medicated, or given hormones or artificial additives. Instead, they live outdoors, feed from the land, and are raised the way animals were traditionally meant to be raised.

How Pricing Works
*Your final price is based on the actual hanging weight (also called processed weight) multiplied by the per-pound price, plus the processor’s fee. Processing costs can vary depending on options such as:
-
Amount smoked vs. fresh
-
Sausage varieties and flavors
-
Vacuum sealing preferences
**Hanging weight refers to the carcass after slaughter and evisceration. Since our pigs vary in size and your cut selections affect yield, the total weights and costs listed above are estimates—you’ll only be charged for actual weight.
***Need more or less meat? No problem. If you’d prefer a smaller or larger pig, just let us know when ordering. Occasionally, if a pig hangs light, we’ll top off your order with additional cuts so you receive full value.
This chart provides an estimated comparison between the pork cuts you would receive from one of our pigs and the cost of purchasing those same cuts individually at a local grocery store—sourced from factory-farmed pork.
For roughly $0.80 more per pound, you’re not just buying pork—you’re investing in fresh, local, truly pasture-raised meat. Our pigs are born on pasture and spend their entire lives outdoors, doing what pigs are meant to do: rooting, grazing, and living naturally in the open air.
We don’t cut corners. Our livestock is raised humanely, without confinement, and cared for responsibly from birth to harvest. The result is higher-quality pork, better flavor, and a production model rooted in traditional farming values—done the right way.
In short: slightly higher cost, materially better outcome.
